  • 05/20/19 -

    Act 625 of 2019 allows a retiring member who has been married at least 6 months (formerly one year) to elect a B-50 or B-75 benefit option with a spouse as a beneficiary.  It also allows a survivor benefit to be paid to a member's spouse of at least 6 months (formerly one year) in the event the member dies before retirement.

    APERS will operate for extended hours Tuesday, May 28 - Monday, June 3 to assist members wanting to retire on July 1

    The Member Self-Service and Employer Self-Service portals will be closed for maintenance Friday, May 3 through Sunday, May 5 -- They will reopen on Monday morning, May 6, when you should be able to log in normally.  We apologize for any inconvenience.
